Not sure. Just going by what the neighbour mentioned. We'll see for ourselves when it warms up a bit

Lums,

Go old school and try and grab some frogs when you do go bass fishing.

We are still rebuilding. May I ask why we are gonna throw two first rounders away?
- PhilMcCracken

The foundation for a compeditive rebuild requires stable defence that can grow with each wave of new forwards. If anything 2 1sts isn't enough for a top pair righty and a top line winger with scary levels of chemistry with Matthews and marner. The leafs 1st won't be worth much with:

Tkuchuk-mattews-marner
Komerov-Kadri-billNy

Gardnier-Hamilton
Reilly-zitsev

I still don't think we are in a position to be trading away our first rounders yet. We are still very early in the rebuild.

Leafs first won't be worth much, until Andersen and Matthews get injured...then we watch Burke use the Leafs first to pick first overall...no thanks.

Such good times.. Something more natural about fishing with live bait. We used to tie elastics around them so you didnt have to hook them, suckers too. One summer in Tweed we must have caught a couple hundred one night on the road and sold them all to the bait shop in town lol.. the good old days..

If they trade away a first and don't have appropriate lottery protection on it I swear to (frank)ing God....

They are very hard to come by now. Very rare you find frogs now. But yeah live bait I always had pretty decent results.

Hamilton and tkuchuk are better then the gamble a leafs 1st round pick offers. Investing in a 20-24 year old d core that can grow with 3 entry (4 including tkuchuk) level studs will maximize development through playoff experience. 2019 management can bolster with rentals and get the kids a taste of being a contender before pay day. If they falter there next contract will reflect that. It's a pick well spent if it can garentee an nhl impact player before there prime.

I never understood why Burke didn't at least protect it considering they were a poop team and hadn't made the playoffs in how long? Jethus Cwithe!!!

Yep worms seem to be the norm for live bait. I think there isn't as much demand. Lures are a heck of alot more popular now.

Yeah I failed miserably at posting an image. The Jethus Cwithe has lost it's luster already.

I wonder if any team had actually protected their pick in a trade before the Kessel trade?

ohhh for sale you mean... yeah true

I know theres certain laws for using live bait.. each zone is different but yeah check your regulations for sure.. we used to use 10" suckers for musky fishing and i know thats illegal now... There need to be better management of our fisheries, Nipissing is devastated.
