While I agree, how many prospects have the Devils had that turned to poop because they took too long to give em a chance. Boucher is latest example in long list.
Age is less of a factor these days. Younger kids are having a bigger impact. Training, working, etc have put these kids on par with the big boys.
You gotta throw em to the wolves once in a while to see if they survive.
