Yeah, I don't get the obsession of putting another rookie on D. I mean if someone was tearing it up with the pack, maybe they might get a limited shot. Defense is not the place you want a couple rookies, especially playing out of position, going into the playoffs. - mdw7413

Skjei has looked lost when put on right side, he's actually looked lost lefty lately as well.
so, lets just throw Ryan Graves on the right side because lefty-righty is a non issue on hockeybuzz - jimbro83
Thank You. I have said that for awhile now.

give me a realistic option other than throwing Ryan Graves on the right side in the NHL when he's been so-so on his normal side in the AHL

He was like the one bright spot in the playoffs last year playing with Mcd on his offside. You could always play Mcd on his offside if its that big an issue

Bring a kid up that isn't tearing it up in Hartford, and pair him with Kevin Klein. And then take a 50,000 gallons of gasoline and poor it on a forest fire.

I care more about developing Ryan Graves into a solid NHLer than forcing him into a situation that doesn't make sense

plus, Kevin Klein sucks too
if he's the only righty, he'll be out there killing every penalty and will more old and exhausted than he already is

Serious question, Would you trust Girardi(all his playoff experience), or Graves(who has never played against NHL caliber players) in the playoffs?
