they both suck, hows that?
Gorton really doesnt need a true #1 RHD considering who has been playing with Mcdonagh so far this season. I think a minor move that would shift some people currently playing around would help a lot - mrn22
I think Girardi has been better than Klein in the minutes he has played. Do I think Girardi is a number 1 still. Nope. I just think if they do pick someone up and you sit Girardi, you still have Klein. Imo its Klein who needs to sit , not Girardi. |

Do you guys feel like we have the 4th best PP in the NHL? I don't - I think the numbers are a little deceiving. There have been several times where we have not been able to set up in the other team's zone or get a shot off. It is better than last year's but I think our PK is visibly better, while the PP is slightly better.
Not trying to nit-pick but when I saw that we were the 4th best I was shocked. |

neither should be close to the top pair but I still think Klein has something left in the tank compared to Girardi. Just my opinion |

This is why he needs to be taken out of the lineup, this right here^
hes dragging down whoever he plays with, Idk how people can continue to say he should play - mrn22
I just don't think anything of Clendening
just because he ISN'T Dan Girardi doesn't make him good |

I do. PP is light years better than last year. Also have to remember if you score on 1 out of every 4 PP's you will be top 5 in the league every year. |

the PP has been good, I'm also surpised it's 4th, but they usually move the puck really well and get tons of chances
definitely low on the list of problems
everything seems like a problem the day after a 4-1 home loss when they didn't show up |

I hate the no effort of last night, but I want to see this team fully healthy for about 10 games before we decide what we need.
Except for the right side D-man, think everyone is on the same page there, just differing opinions on what should be done. |

Holden is paying is offside and doing it well. I would either put him with Mcdonagh or Skjei and then put Graves with Klein on the bottom pair |

I just don't see the Rangers icing a lineup with 5 lefties and 1 righty defenseman and the only righty being Kevin Klein |

Whats going on with him? Did they let him play with the club yet, or is he like the 3rd goalie who gets to sit in the box with all the free food. |

It's better than the alternative of playing less talented players simple because of the way they hold a stick. If its not the desired long term solution, it is at least a more viable short term one.
Its like drafting players by position. Its the 1984 draft scenario :
As the Portland TrailBlazers do you take Same Bowie at #2 because you need a "big man" and you already had Jim Paxson and Clye Drexler and let Michael Jordan slide to #3 because he doesn't fit your immediate needs and go on to regret it forever
Do you dress 3 RHD just because they way the hold their stick and shoot the puck and the balance looks nice on paper when they are markedly less skilled than your left handed defensmen |

They are either gonna gut out a 1 goal win or will get run out of the building. |

they are dressing 2 RHD now, I don't think there is a chance they would add another lefty and make it 5 lefties and 1 righty, with the one righty being Kevin Klein, who has been awful |

Go full Islanders and just draft RH D-men this draft. |

He played less than a period for the Islanders before he broke his leg/foot/whatever.
He's on a tear in the AHL currently. 3g-5a-8pts in 13GP so far. Had 4pts last week and is on a 5gm point streak currently.
Purely my own speculation here, but my guess is that Seidenberg sticks around until the deadline and then is shipped out (save for the NYI going on hilariously-impossible tear). My guess is that Pulock finishes out the season with the big club, or is at least given the opportunity too. |

I'm not talking about pylons like Mcilrath. Target the likes of Luke Martin, Josh Brook, Cale Fleury etc. |
