The forward lines continue to baffle me. It's like he's actively committing to icing a far less than ideal forward corps. Drop Caggiula and Jesse down to the AHL, call up Lander and Slepy.

Hendricks- Letestu- Kassian

Eberle hasn't earned playing time up the order so drop him a bit to see if he responds while Slepy continuing to impress justifies a bit of a reward. Later in the year they can bring Khaira up to take Hendo's spot on the 4th line and still have Caggs, Jesse and Beck pushing the Condors to success.

He produces decently at 5-on-5 despite erratic playing time and a revolving door of linemates. While it's not sustainable, he's also only been on the ice for a single goal against in 165 minutes. Seeing that, I think it's fair to suggest he's doing some things right while in his own end. Add those to his production in his AHL stint (7 points in 5 games) and I think there's plenty of justification for him over Puljujarvi, at least. Eberle's struggles just mean further opportunity.

This having been said, I'd be fine with keeping Puljujarvi in the NHL if they played him where he's been effective. If he isn't playing with either McDavid (6.1 GF/60 and 1.52 GA/60 in 78 minutes) or Draisaitl (1.71 GF/60 and 0.57 GA/60 in 105 minutes), then there's no reason for him to be in the NHL. Sure he makes some mistakes here and there, but he's a rookie and they're usually rather innocuous. PP time would be nice, too, but he's not gonna oust Letestu and Eberle has the track record.

Nope. Smashed in the head with a glass ashtray in High Level tho. Newfies and Natives... I was working for the Newfs. I took it and recovered, finished the fight. I was 21 and full of piss and viniger, epic bar brawl. I'm so far from that now lol. Good memories!
