44.7 dzone starts. hes gifted easy starts, a ton of pp time and no pk mins.
plus he plays on a pp with a few pretty gifted players.


either way, i dont think too mny people ere completely unaware of schultz' offensive instincts. and kudos to the pens for being able to shelter him and play him alongside a much deeper group than when he was here. which allows him to be successful. and even gain the confidence to play further up the lineup again.

schultz is awful defensively, but he can absolutely be an effective nhl'er. and hes proving it.

I've always believed there was a player in Justin Schultz. He was played too far up the line up on a horrible team and struggled. Then the fans forgot how young he was and turned on him and he lost his game. Glad he's doing well in Pittsburgh.
