Aside from the acting, plot, directing, and special effects...it's basically just a BBC TV version of Waiting for Goodough (spelling?).

I just don't think that it needed a full movie. I enjoyed the hell out of it, but imo Disney is just trying to suck the Mula out of anything and everything they can at this point. Star Wars to me was always special because of how less we were given. The duration between each films made each of them more exciting and more enjoyable. I don't think the franchise needs these subplot films. The film really was for the overboard strict fans who complained about how A New Hope didn't make sense with the sweet spot.

I just don't think that it needed a full movie. I enjoyed the hell out of it, but imo Disney is just trying to suck the Mula out of anything and everything they can at this point. Star Wars to me was always special because of how less we were given. The duration between each films made each of them more exciting and more enjoyable. I don't think the franchise needs these subplot films. The film really was for the overboard strict fans who complained about how A New Hope didn't make sense with the sweet spot.

I enjoy these subplot films because there's much much more complexity to the Star Wars universe than the God mode Jedis. Besides Disney has already put out 2 film that are light years better than the poop Lucas put out recently.

Maybe with the canon movies (except the prequels lol), but Star Wars is a galactic empire sized media franchise and always has been with books, games, television shows, etc.. There's a whole lot to cover, and people are certainly clamoring for it.

That makes it seem like the only people who have a problem with it are the "overboatd strict" fanboys. For us casual fans, it's a fun movie that explains part of the plot, and is a fun movie to sit back and enjoy.
