What was the trade that brought Luongo to you guys? Seems that that should be the best trade?
- Aetherial

No....Bertuzzi and McCabe, Bert used to acquire Lu and McCabe used to acquire Daniel Sedin.

Bertuzzi came from the Linden trade.
- A_SteamingLombardi

I was actually thinking about that one. Top 5 trade for sure.
Especially considering how much Bert regressed.

Sedin's was the biggest coup, given the novelty of drafting twins and what they meant to the franchise playing entire careers here.

Naslund was the most lop-sided.

But the best had to be Linden for Bert, McCabe and Ruutu for how they developed and what they meant to future of the franchise.

The rights to Craig Janney for Jeff Brown, Bret Hedi can and Nathan Lafayette was also a pretty lopsided trade. It gave is that elusive PP defenseman for the 94 Cup run

No chance it's him.

It could be a scooby alt playing some kind of deep, deep prank.....but I doubt it. Aside from that it's either Dragon or Nighthawk.

Only other guy that could pull off a prank that deep is RC, but I doubt he has the time.

- golfingsince

how did I get brought into that? No I barely even use this account as it is, no time for an alt. Nor would I anyways, HB is pretty low on this totem pole.

You get some weird ideas. Oh and nighthawk is a decent fella and not the type to have or need an alt. By the way you did that, maybe its you

We need the best scout for the rebuild...Benning is a good scout. We should keep him for another 3 years so we can load up the prospect pool...after that, perhaps somebody like Hitch would make sense

Patrick White for Christian Ehrhoff was pretty sexy too. Although Im aware it was a cash dump.

always wondered how linden would fare as coach given his ability to pump up the players.
I know, he has no experience.....but Couldnt be any worse than what we have now.

Nah Im not serious about that though, just a thought from many years ago.
