Too many serious Sally's here....I'm just jokin. Linden was nothing special but him and Bure were warriors in the 94 playoffs, PPG players. The best flying elbow EVER!!

He brought us Bertuzzi and McCabe from the Islanders, best trade in Canucks history!!

Trading to get the 2nd and 3rd pick in the sedins is hands down with out a doubt the best trade in this teams history.

Burrows was a warrior too.

My favourite Canuck list doesn't have to be the same as others.

Players I liked are Forwards Bure Courtnalls Burrows Gino

On D Ohlund Jovo Sopell Willie

After that no other one rings my bell

The fact that Bure and Quinn are the only HHOF members tells me a lot.

Garth Butcher and Dan Quinn for Geoff Courtnall, Cliff Running, Sergio Modesto & Robert Dirk was my favourite

They already had the 3rd, they didn't trade for it. Can't believe people don't know this? They would have never got the ball rolling to acquire the pick used to select Daniel without McCabe and the 2000 1st unless they traded Linden to get McCabe.

Thus....the Linden to NYI's is the best trade in Canucks history.

McCabe was part of that trade, so without Linden getting traded we don't get the Sedins or Luongo.

You can't base trades off of other separate instances.

If it wasn't McCabe it would have been someone else.

Sure you can, haven't you ever seen the Neely trade or Lindros trade on paper? They kept giving and giving. It all starts with the first trade though.

But it wasn't someone else it was McCabe, you can't change history no matter how much Lefty wants to.

What was the trade that brought Luongo to you guys? Seems that that should be the best trade?
