Oh I know, you never have enough, you may have enough for dinner but you always want leftovers. We roasted 1/2kg of peeled garlic. - A_SteamingLombardi
That sounds awesome.
( whenever I have the oven going, I want to bake some, just love it. my son is with me, wifey, not quite as much but forgiving) |

So we would have Linden Renney and Benning to do one job. No wasted money there.
The fact that you think they need help might be your answer
Gillis use to be GM/ Pres - VANTEL
I would like to see Benning stay with the team in another role more suitable to his skillset. |

I don't think anyone needs to step down or be removed but I think the team could definitely afford to bring in some experienced mgmt to help.
Tom Renney comes to mind. - belcherbd
Isn't he pretty new at being President of Hockey Canada? Don't think he would give that up for this train wreck.
Also, wasn't he the coach that banned post-game beers on flights? |

Everybody needs help when you start a new job.
Gillis also had some experienced guys to help him when he became GM/Pres.

Ya you are probably right that he wouldn't want to leave the team Canada gig but you never know, I think a lot of people view the NHL as the top even if it is a great honour to represent your country.
I have know idea if he banned post game beers on flights. |

He is a wussy too.
Truthfully Vancouver fans are so starved for any kind of hero they grasp at straws.
He really was an average player 1400 games 375 G 875 pts. Nothing flashy about him. He is Vancouvers Davey Keon.
He is too close to the team to make the proper decisions on what is best for the club.

Sportsnet gave him a just OK in November
9. Nico Hischier, C, Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL) Really creative and skilled pivot who can also fire the puck and is a highly effective player off the rush. Has the potential to be deadly on the power play. Scouts wonder about his strength and if that’s reflected in his being selective about when he competes hard. Wasn’t at his best at the Ivan Hlinka tournament, where some scouts said he seemed uninterested at times. Other scouts think he’s a better Swiss prospect than Kevin Fiala (NSH) or Timo Meier (SJ). - VANTEL
Sportsnet ranks him 3rd you are looking at an outdated list. He is charging up the list on all scouting agency's

He's a figure head he has no power, he's there to cover Aquilini's ass. |

Juolevi was just on for another goal against but it had nothing to do with him at all. Finland are a bad team |

Linden is a wussy? Lol ok bud. He inherited a train wreck and I hope he doesn't listen to the vocal minority and he sees this through to the end |

You can have your opinion I can have mine. I never found anything special about him. Just because he is a fan favourite on a horrible list to chose from doesn't make him an NHL great. |

I don't think he makes any decisions, he was brought in for marketing purposes and try and create a buffer between the media and Jim.
It's so hard to follow your train of thoughts from day to day, week to week.
Sedins will retire as the only 1000 pt canucks but you slag them all the time for not having heart and now Linden who didn't have the same skill and points as those two but laid it on the line every night is a wussy and isn't worth praising because of his average stats |
