When I look at the misses from previous drafts it just makes me cry

It's fun to annoy Donna though...

1985 - Jim Sandlak & Joe Nieuwendyk
1986 - Brian Leetch taken 9th we had 7th
1987 - kept the 1st & drafted Sakic
1988 - Roenick, Reechi...he was playing in Kamloops FFS
1989 - no one
1990 - Jagr, Tkachuk
1991 - Stojanov = Naslund
1992 - Mike Peca *thumbs up*

Oh what could've been!!

I don't know what that is! I just remember being pissed about all the misses back then.

That said, that's how you win a Cup, with a great drafting window like that.

One ranking service already has him 1st. Come January's rankings he should be top 3 in all of them

Sportsnet gave him a just OK in November

9. Nico Hischier, C, Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL) Really creative and skilled pivot who can also fire the puck and is a highly effective player off the rush. Has the potential to be deadly on the power play. Scouts wonder about his strength and if that’s reflected in his being selective about when he competes hard. Wasn’t at his best at the Ivan Hlinka tournament, where some scouts said he seemed uninterested at times. Other scouts think he’s a better Swiss prospect than Kevin Fiala (NSH) or Timo Meier (SJ).

Raymond a stud at Spengler?

Now can we get something for him? Toss in Ballard and a 2nd?

What did someone say the other day...'we are three years away from being three years away'...

How true is that...

You think he will go over Patrick?

I know Nico is the more dynamic skater but I think most teams will look at what Nolan did last year in the playoffs as a 17 year old and what he did the year previous as a 16 year old.

No chance it's him.

It could be a scooby alt playing some kind of deep, deep prank.....but I doubt it. Aside from that it's either Dragon or Nighthawk.

Only other guy that could pull off a prank that deep is RC, but I doubt he has the time.
