Problem is outside of Colorado and Arizona, most teams still think they have a shot. So we are really forced to wait, and therefore increase our picks value

or decrease i guess but even still that unless a major change is made that pick will be worth a decent amount.

Especially in a weakish draft year

This is the least i have paid attention leading up to the tournament in quite a while. How good is Canada this year? If they're even about halfway between the 2009 team that utterly dominated and the disaster that was last year, I think it handles this US team easily. This one looks like the 2012 team that didn't make the medal round.

I think they're good, not great. There are some guys that I thought wouldnt make the nhl this early or get sent back like Konecny and Chychrun. its left some holes on the team. Defence looks kinda shaky although im basing that off one game against the swiss.

Neither the US or Canada have any true stars playing. I don't expect either to win gold

Also, Sweden deserves all the credit in the world for not losing a game in pool play since 2007, but it's remarkable to me how often they've avoided the US and Canada so often.

Good assessment of your D. Need a little help on the lower end like my Leafs. No surprise Franson is at the same caliber when was in TO. Although he used to pot a few more goals. Anytime I watch Bogo it seems he goes out of his way to make the big hit, thus getting out of the play.
