Kadri is not a 3rd line center. He's been a victim of really poor usage on TOR as a whole for his career. If he comes to you guys I can't see him playing any lower than 2nd line.

I also just never believe the JVR rumors. I can't see why in the world TOR would trade a guy like that, especially at such a friendly cap hit. He's exactly the type of veteran winger you want have around the young guys.

I feel like the JVR rumors have become the yearly trade fodder like the Malkin rumors.

As it sits right now Kadri would easily be your second line center for a bit...Bennett is not there yet and Backlund as good as he is right now is a career third liner.

I'd hope after the $4M Cap hit for buying out Vanek that Fletcher doesn't try that again with Iginla. The Wild are good so far this year, but Fletcher knows to wait and see with this team and how December and January go before losing future assets. Especially after Tuesday night's game, they shouldn't even be looking at anyone besides maybe Duchene. McKinnon too but he's untouchable.

Possibly. Not saying I want to get rid of him but I can see it happen for a much needed LW. Kings have Ladue who should make it next year and McNabb on IR have to get rid if one IMO. I think muzzin has the best trade value.

Yeah the only issue is JVR would be a 1 1/2 year rental unless they can resign him to a favorable deal which no doubt.

A league source just told me that the Leafs are close to trading for Kadri. Tuned stay. Come to more. True if big.
