What I'm saying is Murray saw Arizona was in free fall, yes they had a bunch of points on us, but he saw they were doing their damndest to not get anymore the rest of the season and they only got 9, 2 of which were against us, he needed to do something, he really likes Kane, he saw the opportunity to subtract Stafford and put a Varone in his place, because Kane was out for the year, he saw the opportunity to subtract Myers and put Bogo in his place, and I think everyone here would agree that Myers is better than Bogo, Bogo getting hurt right away was just a bonus. Myers and Stafford instead of those guys is likely enough to get a few extra goals and allow a few less which probably changes the final standings.

Stafford's stats last year shouldn't factor into the trade, he was a pending UFA when traded, and we were not bringing him back.
