I'm sensing a softening in the #neverTRADErs; now it's the bullets should have been shot but more accurately. Remember at the time Myers was a heap of crap, Stafford ditto and a pending UFA and Armia was non-producing AHLer; the crying is most about a 2nd rounder and a 25th overall 1st, nice pellets that could do some damage but still..

I think you can add to this a feeling Sabres fans had of getting spoiled in trades. Darcy got a nice return for Pommer, then Darcy got a real nice return for Vanek. Murray came in and he also hit a homerun in the Miller/ott trade. Then... then he made the Kane trade and it was somewhat of a WTF for most people. He followed that up with sending away McNabb and 2 seconds for a 3rd and 4th rounders nobody ever heard of at that time. Then, Lehner for a very good 1st round draft pick in a deep draft. The point is trades were going very good for us and then suddenly they weren't. That's tough to handle.
