Agreed . The 4th line has some scoring ability on paper . Just haven't seen any of it

do not trade for a goalie, if lehner is not the option, sign one in free agency

eichel, ror, okposo, reinhart, nylander, kane up front

risto, mccabe, guhle on the back end

use any asset you have to get that other winger and other d man


with all the crap we have in picks, prospects, rentals, 3rd liners........

Honestly I was kind of hoping the Sabres brought Vanek back on the cheap....he wouldn't have had to do anything except sit on Jack or ROR's line and snipe.......and the dude can still snipe.

From the last blog:

I did a statistical analysis of every top 5 pick from 1995 to the 2015 draft and how long it took each player to hit full development.

There were some players that were more difficult than others to decide what their full development looked like, especially when it came to defense and goaltenders, but the results are a bit surprising.

I can post the full Excel spreadsheet if anybody knows of a site that hosts that sort of thing so everyone can see the result.
