I praise him here all the time. You seriously are talking out your ass and confusing me with someone else.

Tell me something.

When you say the name Chris VandeVelde, how does that make you feel?

Oh because I don't want VandeVelde on the team and think he blows, I dislike Hakstol as a coach? Every coach has questionable personnel decisions. It's fair to have gripes and still think he's a great tactician and a great coach in general. Holy poop. Just (frank) off already with this. It's not remotely true.

Listen, you post pretty infrequently. You're under some false assumption and impression, and I don't know where you got it from. You might as well just drop it because you're wrong and only making yourself look like a fool who is doubling down. I'm quite reasonable and effusive in my praise of Hakstol as a coach, though I have my disagreements with things, like all of us do. Still think he's terrific in general and am looking forward to him here for years to come.

I do not know how more obvious and direct I can be with this. Anyone who is a regular poster will back me up. Why you're on this crusade -- and going the wrong way to Jerusalem while you're at it -- I don't know.

Hated the decision to not go 6 on 4 with 3 minutes left and a PP. Hakstol gets too conservative with his goalie pulls.
- Mononoke

That wasnt being too conservative, it was smart. Flyers have a lethal PP. Good move to give them a chance and not give the Stars a chance to end the game with an EN goal. Good coaching.

I agree. I would've thought about pulling the goalie when the 2nd unit got out there

I know what you and Nutter are about. The jig is up. You didn't pass the VandeVelde test, where a true Hakstol hater cannot contain their contempt for the best 4th liner in the league by far. I don't post infrequently, I post when people need to hear the truth. I know you are relatively new here, so I would just take in my wisdom and thank me for giving you the opportunity to correct yourself.

Kind of a boring game tbh. Not sure what you watched. Very few prime scoring chances. 2 total PP's in the game. Nazi Off-sides called, whistles blown constantly on pucks that may or may not have actually gone out of play, and a phantom TMMOTI call. The boring, clutchy slowed down game that coaches like Lindy Ruff and Guy Boucher dream about.
