I would have pulled Mason to start the PP but who knows if it would have made a difference with the way those units looked.

Wasn't going to last the whole season. Just time to start a new streak.

Hated the decision to not go 6 on 4 with 3 minutes left and a PP. Hakstol gets too conservative with his goalie pulls.

Snapping the streak with this game is infuriating, not gonna lie.

Oh well. Don't lose 3 in a row

If Mason wasn't in net, I think one of the first clears by Dallas on the PP was going in.

Don't forget VDV-PEB-Voracek has a lot of history and success together!

I don't think Lyubimov-PEB-Voracek would work well either tbh.

Okay, well that's chaos theory level stuff. The puck may never had even been cleared or so many things could change with another man out. Could just as easily say Dallas never gets the puck and the Flyers score.

Yes, but that works both ways. If Mason was pulled and it was cleared into the net, you'd probably still blame Hakstol.

You could also say that if North Star fans went to the games, Dallas would not have a team right now, and we would not have lost to them today.

No, I wouldn't. Because I would agree with the decision at the time. Clearly you don't know anything about me. I'm very process oriented. At the time I wanted the goalie pulled. I felt that was the right choice.

Lot of bounces went their way in the last 10 games... today ...not so much. Christ Provorov is going to be good....Mark Howe type composure....and that really, really, really is about the highest complement I could pay the kid...not saying he's the next Mark Howe....but the game just slows for him. Great run boys!!!

You're the one saying Dallas would have just scored with the goalie pulled. Not me. I said we don't know what would happen. You're making the assumption that changing the variables on the ice would have the same result in a random clear. It's your logic that is BS, not mine, pal.

Thought a goalie pull at the start of the PP would have been ideal as well. Get the extra attacker out there with your top PP unit gives you best chance to score.

Anyway, it was a solid effort. By the end, they probably outchanced the Stars

If Hakstol hadn't pooped on your lawn, you wouldn't hate him so much, and would not be arguing with me right now about his decisions. My logic is clear.
