Darcy took way too much poop. He wasn't bad at his job. he was just here forever. Getting a 1st for Gaustad was highway robbery. The Hodgson trade worked great for 2 years, then not so much, but Vancouver didn't exactly do anything. Darcy also did all the work on the Miller-Ott trade to St Louis, and Murray came in and made the trade like 2 days later, and even admitted it was mostly done before he came in. It wasn't his fault Briere and Drury both left "Gallysano" wouldn't let him negotiate in season. It wasn't until they both left that Golisano finally let him do that.

All correct, his downfall was he valued his "core" players too much and was timid in the trade market

it WAS regiers fault he had a policy of not negotiating in season. That cost us one or both of those guys

I believe Sbroads used the word "impossible" for the Sabres to make the playoffs this year

So it looks like I'm going to have to vacuum every game until they lose. It's ok, my cats track litter and little bits of cardboard and carpet from their scratching posts/cardboard scratcher all over the apartment, so it could do to be vacuumed every few days anyway.
