Sure. The narrative that as of today, we aren't close to a playoff spot. 30 games into a year we all were expecting to compete for one.

Personally, I'm generally more of a glass half full kind of person. Especially when it comes to aspects of my life I have no control over (how the sports teams I cheer for do, for example).

Not everyone works that way, and I get it. I just don't know why we can't take a little time after a nice win like last night to say, "Hey, the game was good last night. Let's see if they can carry it over to the next one."

We can go back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. But can we get 24 hours where people don't piss and moan about the team after they win a game 6-3?

when he was going to let it play out, meaning vesey, murray should have grabbed a free agent on a 1 year deal


if vesey signs, gagner plays on the 3rd line

either way, the depth would be there where the gaping hole in our top 6 isn't exposed

Drake was wined and dined by the the Canuck's owner (Aquilini), Trevor Linden, Mayor of Vancouver etc. He didn't sign with the Canucks. Did he use them too? Stamkos was wined and dined by the the owner's of the Leafs, CEO of Canadian Tire, etc. He didn't sign with the Leafs - and he is from Toronto. Did Stamkos use the Leafs?

It's called FREE agency. These athletes (Vesey, Drake etc) would be STUPID if they didn't explore all of their options. I don't agree with all of GMTM's moves but i tip my hat to him for at least TRYING to get Vesey, Drake, Stamkos and Babcock to the Sabres.
