The Sabres are in desperate need of hitting on someone in the later rounds of the draft. Would be nice if Baptiste can be a guy like Conor Sheary. Getting tired of the Bruins and Pens found money picks. Marchand, Pastranak, Sheary, Rust.

Gus was selected 14th Overall that year. How he currently rank among that Draft Class

The fact we didn't really hit on either him nor FreakArenko hurts but is soothed slightly by the 44th Pick that year!

if you didn't get Galchenyuk or Forsberg the only impact players in that draft were d men and most went before pick 12

Ceci or Maatta IMO would make this team much better, but that is hindsight

maybe that is why darcy went 2 d men the next year

Funny, Darcy was not very good at the "Drafting"

SENS seem to have a Rabbit's foot on their skates this year but we NEED to defeat Ottawa & Boston every time we see them from here on out, its too bad we lost 2-1 to them when we could've pulled within 2pts, but instead they pushed it to 6pts.
