I'm not opposed to it in principle, but it's hard to see how the money works without the Canucks taking on huge amounts of unwanted salary, we'd have to give up Nylander or a 1st just to make up for the massive cap dump we'd take on their collective chests.

The Sabres would need to move out approximately $12M in cap space to make the money work. If they wait until the deadline it'll be less, because the cap is calculated daily, but it would still be a lot of money to move out.

The Sedins are a unique situation because they wont go to seperate teams and there's probably no where that they would go to that can afford them.
Plus, if Vancouver was ready to get rid of them, they would pretty much be going in to tank mode and would want picks and prospects or at least young talent to rebuild with.
I kind of think Vancouver is stuck with those two.

I love when people say they want to see emotion from a coach, because they see a 5 second snippet of a coach on the bench 3 or 4 times a game and a press conference before or after a game like they're supposed to go all Denny Green or Jim Mora in the presser. They never see a coach in the locker room, and 98% of the time they don't see him on the bench during a game. Yet they can come to the conclusion they're emotionless.

Fun game last night...but when do we talk politics and religion...come to think of it, this year it was successfully combined into a single conversation, very efficient this new administration.

I play an online game that's sort of Mafia Wars-ish and part of the game is a Casino where they have a Bookie. You place bets on real life sports, though I think the majority of players use it as a place to "hide" money (place a bet and then pull it back before the game starts) as it gets the money out of your character and you won't lose as much if you get attacked.

Anyways....I placed a bet on hockey last night with this in mind but forgot to cancel the bet. I logged in this morning to a payout of 690k on my 400k bet of Washington over the Islanders.
