Will be a tough game for sure. This winning streak has put them right in the middle of the playoff mix.
Longest winning streak in franchise history is 13 (1985) - PLindbergh31
It's crazy to me when you think that previously Coots goes down and the team struggles but not that way this year.. |

Yup, if ever there was a game they are going to lose it could be tomorrow..
Also..Simmer and Rousel got really nasty there at the end...I know these two play again in a week..could be interesting. - opeth_pa
Roussel is a Richard but I would take him on the Flyers anyday. He kills penalties and can play with an edge. I would take him over Weise any time .. What ever happened to that guy Weise??

I would agree that Stolarz should play tomorrow.
Mason is clearly the number one guy. And it is clear he needs to play a lot to play well. Hopefully the coach gets this moving forward. - MBFlyerfan
In my mind Mason always was the # 1. Nuevirth has some hot streaks, but he's never been a # 1 on a team in his career, nor has he shown he can stay healthy, |

Hopefully when Couturier returns he can find his game. He's struggled this year. The depth at center is key. They really need Nuevirth back. Don't want Mason to be ran into the ground. |

Voracek currently second in the NHL in scoring. What a season he's having. Feeling a lot better about his contract at the moment. |

Agreed 100%..
Obviously they are going to lose at some point, maybe tomorrow , but to do this without Coots , Neuvirth, MDZ struggling is just amazing to me.. |

hak better win the jack adams he's turned macdonald into a semi competent defender |

Still don't understand what Rousel was trying to do. Why go searching for a fight only to pull an Avery and not fight.
Serves no purpose with 5 seconds left in the game. |

I agree on all points. I think Hack prefers Neuvirth for whatever reason. Personally I think it was a slap in the face when he went with Neuvirth to start the season. There is symbolism there and I am sure Hack knew this. |

I think Hakstol did that to reward Neuvirth for his excellent play in the playoff series against the Capitals. I understand it somewhat. Mason has allowed some soft goals this year, but his numbers are down (save %, GAA) mostly due to being hung out to dry. During the current winning streak I think the only game he didn't play exceedingly well in was the game against Edmonton. |

Being paired with Provorov might have something to do with it. The pairing coincides directly with his "hot streak". |
