The kind that's missed by the refs and results in a win... apparently.

Luv that offsides can be reviewed to the milimeter, but TMM by 40 feet is perfectly fine if missed.

There's either too much replay...or not enough. Take your pick.

There's only 6 skaters that 4 stripers have to worry about - you'd think they could get that call right.

Actually, 7.

Funny thing is do we even have one line this year, the PAK line has really shown me nothing this year. NOTHING! other than being predictable

Good point...you'd think the counting would be an easier task in OT.

Oh well...

No tears...

...just anger.

And the Hawks are down about half their core...bit short handed.

He was in the zone before the guy he changed for was off the ice completely. Unreal. A mucky garbage game. Rangers aren't anything special. Same old same old.

Officiating was a total joke tonight...where was the call when Kane was boarded in the 2nd and instead the Rags get a power play after a total dive by their forward when Kane retaliated out of frustration.

At least they get a point, Rags played a solid plugger game with quick sticks defensively mucking it up. Couldn't help but notice the Hawks kept looking for the extra pass instead of putting it on net.

Thought Motte played well especially defensively - the kids in general really are coming back to help out.

Raanta was good when he was here and what did Bowman exactly get for him when he moved him...crickets...Darling was stellar this evening even though Pat called him Raanta at least once...

As Rob says onto the Stars...

Honestly that line has been more effective with Hossa on it instead of Kane, just saying

Actually the most effective line seems to be any one that Hossa is on.

Except whichever line he's on, Hossa is the only one scoring.

Kruger, Hartman, Hinostroza - not much; I think almost all of Panarin's 10 goals have been with Kane on his right.

Bottom line is: the Hawks can't score enough goals to win consistently. We have had one game out of the last 8 games where we scored more three goal, 3 games we only scored 2 , two games we only scored 1 goal and two game no goals in regulation. That is not a great blueprint for winning games.

Problem is other teams will load up against your top line when you don't have offensive depth and shut them down (a preview of the playoffs)...and that's on Bowman and his moves from the last couple of offseasons and a TDL giveaway has put this team where it is.

So for now the kids continue to play...no question the kids have faired pretty well...but they need to start finding the back of the net more. Hopefully that will come as the season goes along.

And sure the Hawks are missing some of their top guys, but other teams are missing players as well. Meanwhile its the Hossa Show and the latest marketing gimmick "One Last Shift" - instead of having Larmer skate out there how bout retiring his number - it's long overdue.

15 games since the winning streak ended.

7 wins 8 losses.

In regulation: 26 goals scored, 21 5x5.

They've only given up 31 in regulation in those 15 games, 21 5x5.

You are right.. Our defense has been tough indeed, however our offense production has sputtered to say the least. The Hawks never really replaced Saad and Sharps scoring prowess. To be honest our rookies are way behind in scoring also against our ex players, Danault, Dano, Stalberg and TT. That hurts a lot. Got to put some blame on Stan for not getting enough firepower from the replacement s.

You know what's funny? Rags fans thinking winning in the regular season is meaningful. Do something worthwhile in the postseason then come back here. Thanks.

Well ,I'll agree that the Hawks are nothing special, Q is gonna ride his 4-5 guys hard and wear them out , Every time I see Kevin Hayes and now Jimmy Vesey play, just wish our Illustrious GM, in Hayes case would have found a way to Fit Hayes in. Hayes signs here, prolly Vesey follows. oh well , we're stuck withguys like Hinostroza and Rassmusson, who prolly would not make 26 other teams instead of Vesey and Hayes. Good for you guys. Our GM likes these little guys instead. In my hockey world , screw that , you guys look good this year. Our goalies are the ONLY reason we have been able to bank points this year, even with no injuries. Well see where we are at come Feb. 1st.
Tonite, Darling is the only reason we even got a point out of this 1. And I Am A STH and was at the game tonite. No Kool Aid or consolation Kleenex here!

What an effing joke of a game. Zee's handed that one to the rags. Have the hawks benefited from a single challenge all year? You could not tell from those shots they showed at all. Complete joke.

Darling and Raanta though. Jees. Wow.

Uh I didnt complain but you are like every typical Rags fan. Going nuts over one win and booking the parade to the Canyon of Heroes. Let me repeat tool, prove something in the playoffs then you can return and troll all you want.
