statminer on the other hand...

this guy constantly, I mean CONSTANTLY complained that the Rangers didn't buyout Girardi and sign Yandle long term over the summer and wouldn't shut up about it and I ripped him one a few times over it until he blocked me.

Every single day. I don't know if he still complains about it, but I feel more than ever we dodged a major bullet not signing Yandle.

would have been a lot nicer if they traded him at the deadline.

the Yandle topic is hilarious

like it should be clear as facking day that we should not have been signing an a guy who is existing his prime. That would not be learning anything about the Girardi contract, just because he can move the puck

I'll always like Yandle cause he got me the free tix last year and is cousins with my buddy from college but I knew we shouldnt have been paying him

too bad NY will never consider themselves sellers at a deadline but ya, just imagine not picking up Staal (ya ya ya i know you didnt want him) and getting whatever 1st we woulda got from Yandle

they gotta push the deadline back to mid-March like it was in the old days

the Rangers flurry of wins towards end of February tricked them into thinking they were a real contender

but, this Saarela guy doesn't look like a real prospect, people were a little much on that one

Yeah. and honestly I'm usually hyped with pickups at the deadline, I just think they tricked themselves into thinking they might do something in the playoffs last year when it was pretty clear that they weren't doing much.

Last year was probably one of the 1st years I was against any deadline pick ups.

Good idea.

For me it wasn't even Saarela, it was the picks. But oh well, its done. Even with the hiccups they have had the last couple weeks, I love this team so much more than last years team.

We said it before, all the crazy 94 deadline moves. That was I believe March 22. The regular season ended just 3 weeks later. That was too much. I think March10-15 would be perfect.

It's called tradition. Like making the playoffs every year or signing all your replaceable players to long term deals with AAV above market value.
- Feds91Stammer

Tradition, your team has had 3 different names since it's inception

It was a bad 80s USA network show, poor mans A Team. Jan Michael Vincent was the star but was more famous for getting busted repeatedly for drugs.
