Seems like the thing people miss is that players like EG and Sbisa have upside and are continuing to grow as defenders. He claimed to have the longview in mind, but couldn't seem to get that EG might be a very dominant shut-down guy in 2-3 years from now and still only be 26-27 by then.

I actually am starting to turn on him for the same reason. Unless FA has him by short and curlies, he's got to be seeing the same team and knowing its time to get some picks and prospects in. But he seems to genuinely think this team has a chance, which is kind of disturbing. Not only that Burrows finally shows he may still have trade value and he says he's not trading him?! I hope he changes his tune at the TDL is all I can say
