The Sabres play the Panthers that Tuesday. I'm debating on going, but I don't know if I want to go by myself. I guess it'll depend on whether or not I find something else to do.

According to google maps, my hotel is about a half hour from the Arena.

In all fairness to him, he's been in 2 shootout games and has allowed 4 goals on 4 shots. That also means that our shooters have scored 0 goals in those two games. So while his numbers don't look great, he's also not really been given a chance to be successful in those games either way.

I'm going to wait to decide to go at least until down there and settled after work on Monday. Tickets in the upper level are cheap right now. Hoping some of the lower sections come down a bit in price.

Eichel has 5 points in 5 games. Do you except he becomes a 164 point player? Reinhart is Reinhart. This is him. He's one of the oldest player in his class, and is getting out performed by guys like Pastrnak, Draisaitl, Ehlers, Nylander. He's a solid player but a total dud of a 2nd overall pick. We need another high end talent if this team is serious about contending for a cup.

Sure, he will get better, but marginally IMO.

He already thinks the game like a veteran. He already has the defensive acumen of a veteran.

He isn't waking up tomorrow as an elite puck handler or as a speed skater.

As people love to point out, he's always in the right spot at the right time. I guess my question would be, where is the big improvement in his game going to come from?

He's Jordan Staal. Very good player, who hasn't gotten much better since he's been 19-20. He just is what he is.

With the exception of the Pittsburgh game, I don't think he's "stolen" us any. And Lehner stole us the Ottawa game. So they're pretty even, IMO. I'd like to see Lehner get on a bit more of a roll though, that's for sure.
