Sure, he will get better, but marginally IMO.

He already thinks the game like a veteran. He already has the defensive acumen of a veteran.

He isn't waking up tomorrow as an elite puck handler or as a speed skater.

As people love to point out, he's always in the right spot at the right time. I guess my question would be, where is the big improvement in his game going to come from?

He's Jordan Staal. Very good player, who hasn't gotten much better since he's been 19-20. He just is what he is.

Penguins took a long time to get back to contenders after they moved staal though. That's the rub with Reinhart. He's no Eichel, but this team takes a massive hit without him. And frankly the thought of Eichel, Oreilly, Reinhart down the middle in the playoffs sends chills down my spine.

I suspect if they do make it this year thats the set up theyd run with in the post season. Its the one major advantage they would have over a lot of playoff teams.

assuming theyre a playoff team you absolutely can. Jack will make anyone better, rolling 3 lines where the third has Reinhart on it makes you a matchup nightmare which is more or less what the playoffs come down to.

1978 my buddy stole a bunch of airline whiskey bottles from his old man's bar on the night before ACDC played in the Rochester War Memorial with Styx.

The whole place was an entire poop show of 15 year old kids boozed up out of their freaking minds.
