I have used a number of plants for brewing, eating and medicinal. The latest is mead I made with Autumn Olive. Also made a beer with no hops, but dandelion and stinging nettle among other plants.

This does not shock me at all.

Had a cord of wood dropped off today and (frank)ed my back up yesterday. That was fun stacking.

How do you stack, traditional or the cross pattern? I'm trying the cross pattern this year. Heard it keeps most of the moisture out and burns nicer.

I wish! Didn't realize how little sun I get living wooded until I tracked it trying to find a good spot for my paw-paw trees.

Cross pattern takes up more room, so I go traditional. Keep it off the ground and some space between the rows so there is airflow. Don't cover the pile with a tarp all year until around September so the wood can season. If you cover it, the wood can't expel moisture and kind of rots or stays green. Surface moisture, aka rain, isn't a problem since that evaporates quickly. My buddy always buys unseasoned wood that wasn't stacked properly and tarps it. He can't figure out why it doesn't burn well. I dropped off a load of green (downed tree) poplar for him in the spring and he split it but tarped it. What do you expect from a Devils fan?
My wife wants me to stack like this because it looks cool, but next year I am going to build something more permanent.

Yeah, the wood I get is already seasoned. I put it under a carport so it doesnt get hit with rain/snow. I do have the room to do the cross pattern so I figured I would try it this year. Just sucks because each row has to be similar in size, so it took triple the time.

Dude that would take you a week to make that contraption you posted

Rangers could have a few goals this period. Grabs twice, Hrivik, Kreids...

Hutchinson is incredibly beatable could easily be 3 or 4 to nothing but Rangers lack of puck control and execution will keep Jets in it.

(frank)! Can't find a feed. My usually reliable channel doesn't have one, I might be stuck watching the Devils.
