Hard for me to criticize that team, considering IMO they played the best hockey I've seen a Rangers team play in game 5-7 against PIT and games 1,2 vs MTL.

yup its very concerning, people point to the injuries and no doubt its had an impact but I think its to convenient of an excuse

It's a perfect storm of injuries coupled with a huge drop off in play. It doesn't look as bad as it has been (standings) due to alternating wins and losses, but if they start stringing together losses it could spiral very fast.

If they get out of this funk and start playing even remotely close to the way they were a month ago this will just be a distant memory before long. Right now it feels like they are on the edge of disaster.

certainly doesnt help how deep this division is. My how far we've come from "the west is so much better than the east" a couple years ago. its not even close now how much better the east is

NP, I expected something interesting would be coming back when I wrote it.

My father told me that when he was a kid he'd go to the Rangers game on New Years' because they would let the fans skate on the Garden ice afterward. I always thought that was cool.
