I missed the 1st period. How bad was it? The start of the 2nd was pretty horrible too.
- markmark

I thought we took the game to them all 3 periods...they got a couple lucky ones...Andersen needed 1 big save and Kadri and Bozak needed to get the puck moving instead they miscued and it ended up in the back of our net.

Not a chance we should have lost that game.

I'm getting really tired of hearing the opposition coaches talking about how good the Leafs are getting and how good they are going to be, and then watching their teams go and beat them

There's not even any gems worth drafting this season, is there?

On another note, Mirtle left the Globe and Mail and now writes for The Athletic. What I like about it is that his first article actually used statistics to support why the 4th line and 3rd pairing are absolutely abysmal, so all the nerds can finally agree with what the people who watch the games have been saying since the season started

Liljegren would be nice for the Leafs.

I wasn't implying we drafted Kapanen. They were meant to be two separate subjects, draft picks (Bracco) and kids like Kapanen

Would be.

Doesn't look like too many D ranked in the 1st round next year, could be tough to draft one.

The first 5 minutes into the 1st period the leafs were flying. It looked likely they were going to roll over Minnesota.

I think after the Andersen penalty it kind of turned it around and the wild started getting their system going and clogged up the neutral zone.

Dumb penalty too.....he was pissed off, ref always calls the retaliation. I thought he maybe should have had that goal where Kadri and Carrick got mixed up behind the net...puck comes out front and Andersen is almost on his belly already.

Yeah 2 of 3 goals came from turnovers behind the net.

Carrick and gardiner had a couple rough defensive zone shifts too.

Finishing with a .500 record, but 27th out of 30 would be a pretty sweet deal for this season.

Personally, I loved the actor/character in the Jessica Jones series....but i found the dialogue/acting in LC meh, and the action is so slow. I loved the imagery and stuff....but there was just no real humour in the show, and for an action series, like I said, its boring. I feel like they did it so half ass. Like the Leafs last rebuild.

I like the scene where he busts up the dude's cash house and they play Wu-Tang during the sequence but they censor the song in the worst way imaginable

It had its moments, but for example....Daredevil, I loved Vincent D'Onofrio, I loved the bad guys in season 1, season 2 gave us the Punisher, and he was cool, even though the Hand sucked balls. But there were great support characters throughout. Scott Glenn as Stick was fantastic.

Jessica Jones, didn't have great support characters, but at least they were good.

Luke Cage, it was meh. Mike Colter looks like a good fit, and at time acts like the good fit, but I just felt he went through the motions in the role. Mahershala Ali was good, but he could've been so much better. Again, going through the motions.

Everything you just said could apply to the Walking Dead, but I still watch that for some reason. WTF - Corl, you went there for the purpose of killing him and all you had to do was pull the (frank)ing trigger

I find the same thing happened with Gotham. The good characters don't stick around, and the core characters and actors/actresses playing them aren't that good, save for Penguin, and he's so underutilized.

Walking dead I used to watch with the wife. She gave it up when Glenn looked like he had been eaten by zombies (ironically, whcih we finally watched the week before in real time Glenn met Lucille) I thought about telling her he lived, but then that would be cruel, and figured we'd just go through the same thing all over again when she got to the NEgan episode.
