I really saw what you guys are talking about with Sam last night. One time when they were heading to commercial he shouts "We'll see you later!"
And then he called the Isles out for being "really passive" on the PK. I had already remarked that I don't remember seeing a PK that aggressive outside of the playoffs.

Yes, one top line was two-thirds broken (pun intended)...so fix that line and that line only. Don't botch up the other three in order to do so. Plug the holes with your daily healthy scratches and hope for the best. Rangers had FOUR lines going. Now they have nothing

You have to put players in a position to succeed. And I get that part of that is recognising and riding chemistry, but if he replaced Kreider and Buch and Nash with Oscar, Hrivik or Jooris you guys would be on here calling for his head anyway.

Negative. There was no reason to mix up NASH-STEP - VESEY and MILLER-HAYES - GRABNER. Our best line to start the season was Kreider-Z-Buch, when Kreider and Buch come back from injury he doesn't put them back together and they all struggle.

I know we shouldnt judge till fully healthy but how do you know the team is ever gunna be fully healthy? theres a few reasons to be concerned

Because if you leave them together, then your 3rd & 4th lines are:
Zucc-Lindbergh-Fast
Jooris-Pirri-Boo/Hrivik (or whoever else they call up), plus Jorris got hurt too.

And then you get killed everytime they are on the ice. AV had to mix things up to achieve some sort of balance. It didn't exactly turn out well and I wasn't happy about it either, truthfully. But to just put all the blame on him is unrealistic, in my opinion. If you put all your eggs in 1 basket in this league, you end up being the Edmonton Oilers!

Jimbo, I'm trying to quote u but it's not working. Stop. There is no defending AV right now. It's not just last night with 10 fowards. It's the last 15 games, which prior to we were leading the league in goals and it wasn't even close that he decided to shuffle the lines. We're 5 goals a night not enough? Did he want 6? I don't get it. And if he doesn't realize his mistake he shouldn't be the coach. I'm not a huge AV fan and his soft style of play but it was working for the first 15-20 games. But the flaws on our team and with AV are showing. Do injuries hurt? Sure. But it's not an excuse to him not realizing which lines work.

Even when buch and Kreider were back he didn't put them back when Zib when they were the best line. It's mind boggling

you cant play these lines though, because Zuch would be on our 4th line. He keeps playing with the lines because he is trying to force chemistry. the top 3 lines on this team as far as chemistry, do not have zuch on them. That is a BIG problem. He should be on the top line, but he hasn't so far this season.
