I was at the game and couldn't stop watching him every time he was on the ice. He is going to be so good. Norris trophy good.

It's amazing how you see a great play by a defenseman and you almost immediately know it's him before you get the jersey number. Kid is just THAT good already. I'd hand him the Ashbee award right now if he doesn't do a total faceplant or get hurt.

Is it me or is Provorov starting to make things looks effortless?
- J35Bacher

I get that the Devils needed a forward and Zacha may turn out to be a very good player but they may really regret not taking provorov.

I look at the game tomorrow and our defense and I can't see any other defender going against McDavid other than Provorov.

He is getting better every time he is on the ice. He still does turn the puck over occasionally, but his recovery is exceptional.

He does have a different style because of how he holds his huge stick but I know what you mean. Really reminds me of Doughty in a lot of ways. Always in motion and head is always up looking for the most efficient play.

oh no! not turnovers!

Provorov has been doing the little things all season. It is not new. He has been doing them more consistently and covering better defensively. Even that dreaded game against the blackhawks he made a number of great plays to get the puck up the ice

Well it's pretty obvious he won't be back next year.

Looks like next year it will be Ghost, Provorov, Manning, and MacDonald.
Hopefully Sanheim, and Morin are ready next year.

Hmm, I wasn't aware that free agency was cancelled.

So you think it is a great stat that we lead the league in missed shot attempts and BS. Lead by Ghost....

You my friend are quite the hockey Guru!

18 out of a possible 20 points on home ice. Combination of talent, and that rabid fan base make them tough to deal with.

Can we kick the extra point Vs McDavidLers...

Hack will really need to be a circus act as he better juggle the lines a bit because, counting on PP and G line with no other threats line 2-3-4 may block our extra point tomorrow night.

Would really like some weird experiment like Luby on top line or TK moving to 2 center Schenn LW-Train RW.

A one line team will be an easier target.

- Konalover

we just need luke schenn. is he even playing for arizona?

Listening to WIP (yeah yeah i know)....caller wants to talk about the Flyers.....cool a non eagles call. We need to trade Voracek. he turns the puck over. Finally get a Flyers call and that is is.

He is well on track to the #1 we haven't had since Pronger. He may be our #1 now haven't checked ice times.

Some of the stuff he does it's like how the hell or who the hell has taught him the game of hockey? The angles, using his body, right now watch him in front of the net he is canceling anyone out that gets near him. Its (frank)ing dynamite

And the best ones always will on occasion. 25 mins a game it happens. But like you said, the recovery especially thinking about that 2 vs 1 in OT. The kid is night and day from a month ago.

Also he has that high motor trait and his game is just so smooth. While a player like Ghost plays in spurts and is volatile. Provorov is that guy that just punches in and out shift after shift with consistency

He was assembled outside of Yaroslavl using experimental parts from a T-14 and recycled MIG-15 components

I'm in no rush to take Raffl off the top line. Voracek and Giroux have been different players ever since he was placed with them.

Has MDZ struggled at times? Yes. However he is still a much better all around player than slow motion Streit at this point. Just because you wear a letter on your jersey, should not make a player immune from being scratched. Sure Streit makes a few nice offensive plays and scores some points, but his defensive work is just atrocious. He needs to sit.
- BiggE

Ideally Streit needs to be traded... But I a with you , MDZ over Streit any day ..younger, faster, and a little more physical.
