LOL it needs to be national and we can't sell a game out. Speaking of games I'm going to b sens sound Tigers sat want to see jhs and mdc pulock toew play - Upstate_isles
Nice. I shall wait to hear your report. I was hoping to see them too when Tucson got an AHL franchise until you guys told me that they only play within conference. I think they might need to do some re-alignment though since Charlotte is in the western conference. |

So the officiating in last nights Roadrunners-Reign game was atrocious. Both ways. There were elbows, high sticks and trips that were all let go. I usually don't rag on the refs, things get missed here and there but last night was enough to pull out the inner official hatred. I finally yelled 'I bet your whistle isn't the only thing you swallow.' Many a laugh was had with people within earshot, and a few high-fives. Good times. Damn referees. (sorry upstate, not you. I'm sure you're a damn fine ref.) |

Since JT has been an Islander some extremely high end talent has been moved that would/could have fit nicely on his wing. Hall, Kessel, Oshie, Seguin, James Neal, Johanssan, Carter, Hossa, etc. etc. etc. ... there have been a lot of guys who would have been fantastic on his wing. If we finally make a move I want better than JVR. |

Don't care. I don't want Snow making any more moves. This whole regime needs to go before anyone else gets brought in, imo. Crappy cannot coach talent, he has only one system, and is totally clueless. What other coach has lines that are successful together and breaks them up for no reason. Or has an abysmal PP yet does nothing different to try to improve it. You know the list. It goes on and on. Getting an elite level winger for JT has been bandied about in here for years. The closest we came was a Vanek rental. |

I haven't done a complete analysis of team locations, obviously, but it just seems strange that Charlotte is just about as far east as you can get. Yet they are in the western conference. I'm wondering now if they moved there from someplace in the west. |

I agree. Garth had his chances and now he has to go down with his team. Cappy was given talented wings and he decided to play Nino with garbage for a year and never gave a real shot to Barzal. |

Yeah the teams don't make enough to to fly out west but Charlotte makes no sense and nys could have its own division with Rochester Syracuse Utica Albany Binghamton and Wilkes Barre is only 70 miles south and Bridgeport can't be far from Albany |

I guess The RR Lost - nyisles7
Yeah, 3-2 in OT. One of the Roadrunners got tripped coming around the net (no call) and Ontario ended up scoring on the ensuing breakaway. Like I said the officiating sucked. One of the Reign got tripped(corkscrewed) 10' away from the ref. I thought it was a call for sure, but he didn't blow the whistle. A couple elbows and high-sticks that should have been called on the Roadrunners didn't get called either. Another game tomorrow night. Last nights game there were maybe 2,000 in attendance. Tomorrow night is almost sold out already ($2 beer night). |

It's curious how they are in the west. Do you know of any reasoning for this, Dan? |
