If anything chaput should have got a penalty for instigating ...good on him though for coming to the aid of a teammate
- Redmile247

Yeah, not sure how they missed the instigating. Probably because Larsen looked dead.

If you have your head around your stomach area it will not be called a head hit.

If he had his head down then the head must have been principal point of contact.
- docmorgan

Then he should be more responsible with dangling his head out there to be pummelled.

Nasty hit (hopefully we don't decipher it over the next month + )

On a related note, i guess we don't have to worry about them sending Tree or Stecher to the press-box anytime soon...

You're entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. Just as the NHL will be entitled to theirs.

Watch it from 43 second mark, Larsens head bounces off Halls chest very close to point of contact. Very hard to tell if head is hit first or body, or both at the same time.

Also not good that Larsen got pretty much kicked in the head during the fight.

After a couple of PVR replays it's clear Hall didn't have to skate through him. He chose to hit him while he was vulnerable a' la Raffe Torres. Clean hit yes, but reckless and unnecessary. Brent Seabrook says hello

Hall's hit was clean

You can't penalize players because the other player is small.

Reminds me of Dumda hit on Patrick Kane.

Yeah, if you're looking for nickels on the sidewalk and walk head first into a telephone pole don't blame the pole.
