Might have something to do with the -5 temperature. If it's 80 degrees we are all hammering back beer instead

I don't care where you're born, Peter Forsberg was a tough mean SOB, just play with heart and desire. The last two years the Sedins have played with more grit, which is nice, but ten years too late. All teams have talented guys, but play with some heart!!

Did you not post this..No more Scandinavians, sooo you do care where they were born

Besides I was trying my best Don Cherry imitation..

Watch it from 43 second mark, Larsens head bounces off Halls chest very close to point of contact. Very hard to tell if head is hit first or body, or both at the same time.

Also not good that Larsen got pretty much kicked in the head during the fight.

- Retinalz

scary looking hit. Hall may get a call from the league since its a head shot.

Hope the best for Larsen.

Silver lining is now you dont have to wonder who to send down when tanev is back, so we can enjoy stetcher longer

I was just acknowledging the consensus that it was clean according to the rules. I don't like the hit. I think it's reckless only because he had time to decide not to do it (regardless of Larsen looking for nickels). Hasn't Hall sat out from concussion issues in the past? Maybe I'm mixing him up with all the others.
- Bowel-Auger

Maybe you should watch contact free sports then....not a thing wrong with that hit. Hockey is a tough game, it's appeal is the physical confrontation. Should have let up ....bullpoop he should have sped up an hit him harder. Skating behind the net with your head down you get what you deserve. This isn't Europe...we play the body over here.

I think he'll be pleased with the rights to Ted Nolan.

I just watched the hit a number of times. (thanks Retinalz)

Clean hit Larsen should of had his head up. I still feel bad though doesn't matter who it is that takes it.

Hard way to learn a lesson.

- thundachunk

Your welcome.

I know that the hit was clean according to CBA, but that doesn't change the fact that is was unnecessary. Larsens head was down because the puck was in his feet. Nobody can find a (frank)ing puck in their feet with their head up. This should fall on Hall to know what his hit will likely do and avoid hitting and go for the puck . The CBA needs to change to prevent these kinds of hits. I would be surprised of Larsen doesn't sue the league over this.
