Honestly I'm not sure. I think its mostly Benning, Russell and Davidson fighting for two roster spots with Nurse more or less slotted in as 3rd LH D.

We will let you know in a year or so, but Puljujarvi would not have made the CBJ roster from day 1 just like Dubois didn't. The Oilers have wasted a quarter of a season on him in the NHL when he should have been in Juniors or back in Finland playing every night.

Wouldn't call it a waste really. Despite the paltry 7 points, Puljujarvi has had a poop ton of quality chances. Easily could have 5 goals thus far. I think he puts too much pressure on himself personally. Kid just needs to relax a bit.

Maybe part of him agreeing to come over as an 18-year-old was a handshake deal that he wouldn't be sent to the AHL.
