That is Eric Rothstein, otherwise known as Super Fan. He literally only has Flyers shirts, and he wants everyone to know that he's a much better and more important fan than you.

The 2nd line and TKone miss #14

Flyers winning without Couts is pretty amazing

Giroux's line with Raffl has picked up the slack thank jeebus

- Marc D

They should scratch Raffl again. He'll come back even better

for all the love the second line gets and the scoring that simmonds is doing right now...its getting caved in pretty easily and konecny has 0 goals and 2 assists. he still looks dynamic, but the plays arent getting finished

In all seriousness, if the top line and Mason are still firing on all cylinders when Coots returns, this team could be scary.

lol
I wasn't serious. I just found it funny that he mentioned the sign man and then parenthetically described him. I would assume that everyone who posts in Flyers threads here knows who he is.

- Scoob

I gotcha. I would say that not everyone here would know who he is.

Can't say enough about provorov... i figured mason would turn it around, that guy playing earlier in the season was not the steve mason i know.
- JoeRussomanno

Agreed, Mason just didnt look like what we had previously seen from him...
Great to see he is playing well right now.

It's true. Kony has created a boatload of chances, but he routinely fails to finish them. He's probably adjusting to the quality of goaltending at the NHL level. Any hesitation and the tender covers the holes. He'll get there..

I do think so.

I always thought it unreasonable that folks, anecdotally, thought he could jump in and do what Coots does/did. Like, what Coots did wasn't a big deal and anyone could do it.

- johndewar

Coots is very underrated by a lot of people. Laughton hasn't shown any ability to replace what he brings. Of note, I am quite impressed with how the team has rattled off 5 in a row without him... especially considering we have such a bad goalie.

Flyers keys to success:

1. Play Vandevelde and AMac
2. Injure Neuvirth and Couturier
3. Put Schenn at center
4. Keep Streit on the PP
5. Force Raffl's dad to watch every game

Bill tweeted that Leier will be used on PK duty tonight

I read another tweet that said Gudas is healthy but is not in the line up for tonight, which seems to me a bad decision.

Gudas goes out , Flyers win 2 in a row..
Fancy stats tell me that Gudas is the key to winning 2 in a row.

I don't agree with that decision, unless they feel he needs to get his wind back, and whatever illness he had, affected that. A player shouldn't lose his spot in the lineup, due to a short illness.
