A joke of a win but whatever. Streak is running on fumes.

Couturier would have made a huge difference in this game. They needed someone to check that top line and had no one. I imagine the possession numbers for Florida's top line are off the charts

Mason playing out of his mind, Jake overcoming some adversity, Simmer scorching hot, young Provorov making some heady plays, and G being G. The panthers probably deserved better, but screw 'em. Flyers came up big when they had to. I'll take the W and 2 points is 2 points.

Barkov line 80% CF% against PEB. Was on ice for both goals. He really did a good job, I think!

Had a feeling. Seems like every time they were on the ice, they were scoring or Mase was having to make a great save.

The Bellemare line was holding their own through two periods. Hakstol swapped up the lines and matchups at the start of the 3rd period. It didn't work, and it was downhill from there. Until OT.

This team needs a Gudas back. I thought Provorov was awesome in terrible situations. He had the lowest CF% among defense, but I think that had a lot more to do with matching up against Fla's top line with our 4th line. 70% of his ice time was against Barkov and with PEB line. That really pisses me off so much. Can you imagine if Florida matched their 4th against Giroux and Jake? Holy (frank).

Have you guys seen Philip Larsen getting absolutely destroyed by Hall? Guy was unconscious before he hit the ice then like 3 if his own guys accidentally kick him in the head trying to defend him. Scary stuff.

It's a tough spot for Hak, but using PEB for most of the game against them is just a bad idea.

Brutal. Looked like a clean hit though. Larsen had his head down and Hall hit him with his shoulder.

It's nice they won. Mason is still in top form. Flyers have to learn to play with a lead instead of just trying to keep the lead. They're on a 6 game winning streak but definitely trending downward.

Even scarier was after the hit the fight ensued and all of the Devils players rushed in to aid Hall. With a slew of Devil skates almost trampling the KO'd Larsen. One skate almost cuts into the helmet. Idiots.

They won the game! The team was completely outplayed, especially in the 3rd period. When Hakstol went away from the matchup, early in the 3rd period, things got worse. The Flyers are missing two of their best checking forwards in Read and Couturier. He can't trust Schenn or Cousins to matchup. The only other choice is to go head to head with the Giroux line. I'm not going to get pissed off about putting two points on the board. Provorov, despite the lousy stats, made a lot of quality plays. Ultimately, goals are what matters, not shot attempts. Won't win many games like that, but tonight, they found a way to win. Move on to the next game. I like this result better than when the Flyers won the shot attempt battle heavily against the Rangers, but lost 3-2.

Also may not be the best idea to use the 4th line as the checking line against Oilers on Thursday

Sbisa lightly touched him, but the idiot devils players almost (frank)ing stepped on him with their skates trying to save's Hall's ass from a beating

What about if we call 76-78-13 the 2nd line?

I actually want to see them match up with McDavid. I want to see it so badly.

I was terrified someone was going to step on his face. He was out cold before he hit the ice. Then his head hit the ice really hard.

There have been over 10,000 NHL games since '07. Tonight at 5v5, FLA had:
- T-2nd most chances ever
- 3rd best chance diff
- 6th best SCF/60

They did this without Jonathan Marchessault. Really puts it into perspective even more.

Also, I don't trust those stats. I'm going to have to comb over those 10,000+ games myself to determine their veracity.
