Yep. Talking about Sunday school and coming up with questions for the priest? Classic.

EK has the Isles talking with LA. I think we heard about this before. Just wonder with all these Isles rumors this year you figure something gets done right? |

Dan Petriw: Presidential Debating - Dan Petriw
You dont have to worry........his cornerstone franchise center has needed a winger for 8 years now, and he's failed to get him one. I dont see Garf doing much of anything anyway.......he's gonna go down with his ship. |

Just voted for Berube. The man deserves to play in at least one game. It might as well be the All Star game |

this is all very encouraging. Garth has really been autonomous for the past 5-6 years. I don't believe Wang ever talked him out of any deals...unless it was solely for $$$ purposes.
A president would be the one who decides the GM. It's good to see the owners are going to assume the owner role and let more qualified, dedicated people do the day-to-day.
That means Garth's time is finite. As too is Cappys.
I only hope there is a NO-Move list of players that the owners have demanded Garth not trade, unless the return is obviously ridiculous & they agree to it. Something in the range of "All 1st Rd Draft Picks for the past 5 years & select 2nd Rders."
For the first time, in a long time, I am hopeful.
Now go VOTE BERUBE!

Would definitely be in on Tallon. - Isleshockeyman
Tallon would be a solid hire. His track record is pretty positive. Not knowing what else is out there and available though makes it impossible to know what the other options are. That's likely why this process won't begin in earnest until the offseason.
And I agree that it is imperative that Snow NOT be allowed to make major decisions or moves this year IF ownership is truly looking to restructure the front office. |

Tallon should be at the top Jethro. I talk about Jimmy D, but he has been with the Wings for years and I do not see him as a realistic option. I would not mind him as President at all though. Patty Lafontaine should not be a serious choice IMO. No dynasty Isles players strike me as possible presidents. |
