Pearce started 14 games at 2B last year so he's certainly an option if need be.

Here's hoping that he shuts the door on Moreland though as he's barely a replacement level player. Ugh.

I'd like to see the Jays sign Fowler and, though it likely will never happen, Aroldis Chapman for the pen.

Fowler is looking good.
Chapman... no. He will cost so much and will want 4 years.
with Pen pitchers, 2 year contracts max....maybe 3. They fluctuate too much.
