It was a good game in the end. Vancouver fans were a little confusing though. The place erupted in cheers when one of their D missed a check on Connor Brown who then got a scoring chance....

So as I pretty much predicted about saturday nights game....one fight (the boring mandatory one) and all the rest was regular hockey business.
Miller won the game for the Canuckleheads.

Don't want Jose back. This team needs to stop relying on the HR.
Fowler would be a nice addition. Sure EE would be nice, but it's not devastating if he doesn't come back, especially considering how it would handcuff the payroll.

He's a utility player, as was Goins last year. He played outfield and first. Tulo Travis and Barney would be middle infielders.

Pearce started 14 games at 2B last year so he's certainly an option if need be.

Here's hoping that he shuts the door on Moreland though as he's barely a replacement level player. Ugh.

I'd like to see the Jays sign Fowler and, though it likely will never happen, Aroldis Chapman for the pen.
