I don't trade the twins unless they get full value, it's not a cap dump. They're still productive players, just a really good 2nd line at this point.

You don't eat salary and accept scraps. You eat salary and take good futures or they retire Canucks which is most likely what will happen.

You don't eat salary and accept scraps. You eat salary and take good futures or they retire Canucks which is most likely what will happen.

yep, I agree with you. that's why VAN has to retain some salary if they want to get a good return. you don't pay 2nd line players (and soft ones) 7M each.

its not rocket science. I agree with you to a degree (don't think they're all that at this point), although they are somewhat tough to sell if they insist on being a pair. The Habs could use them but it would gut them so there's no point

did you know that NJ was giving up on avg 26 shots per game in 2002-3 when they won the cup and the Habs only gave up 22 in 2010? did you know that?

Yeah, Van eats half the salary and takes a cap dump....that way they maximize return.
