You shoot it down a lot, but how do you know? I've played golf with FA before at Golden Eagle and got to talk to him. He's fired the entire staff of that golf course because it didn't do as well as Swan-E-Set down the road. And he loves that golf course too, just like he loves the team, so what makes you think that it would be any different. He is not wrong on that one. Most hate Burrows and Vancouver is the most hated team in the league. Its partly our fault.

Bringing in guys like Gudbransen in the franchise is making a huge difference on peoples opinion of the team. Get the rats out. I thought the culture would change a ton once Cooke was gone but no.

But it was the attitude the president trophy teams had ...they thought they were far better than anyone else ...and although their stats were undeniable ...they never won a cup so they weren't any better than other non cup winning teams who had great regular seasons

Few bounces or calls go there way and boom.. winning the president trophy doesn't get enough respect.. it's a big deal being the best team for 82 games.. few bounces and people talk about the Sedins being huge playoff leaders etc etc.. takes a lot of luck to go along with being very good to win honestly

I know Canucks fans that are still salty Corey didnt play game 6 for us. He most likely would have won that game (maybe), but that said Luongo did steal a couple games for us like Thomas.

Water under the bridge, they were a great team, time to rebuild again.
Maybe they set out to be the best in 82 games, rather than 16-28 games. All I know is that Canucks hockey from 2010- 2015 was beautiful. - pker2theend
I'm not trying you belittle the president trophies ...just stating it played a factor ..they were a very arrogant team and maybe rightfully so ...but not winning a cup should have knocked them down a peg

Your not wrong here ...but I'd be willing to bet they would trade it all for one playoff run ending in a cup win
