This team is in big trouble once the playoffs start, go up against a bigger team and can't do jack.

They won 1 board battle in the 3rd period, that's not going to get it done, can't win board battles and can't sustain effective net front presence.

Losses are starting to come...Hawks too predictable as a one line team and some good teams coming up on the schedule. Also sounds like Toews' back isn't getting any better...

Special teams have been awful most of the year, and it's amazing more points haven't been lost.

What are they gonna trade? The darm is depleted, and the Hawks have almost no depth anywhere and I am sorry, but TVR and Rosy doesn't really count as legit depth that can be parlayed into any substantive addition.

4th game in 6 nights is a viable "excuse".

Find out soon enough if it's legit.

It is pretty hard to win in the NHL when you give the other team 4 breakaways, 7 two one ones, loose about 70% of the board battles, take half as many shots as your , seldom have any of your players screening in front of your opponents net, and have a P/P and a P/K that are ATROCIOUS.

To voice concern over a team I care about? If you want to be blind to the teams problems then bury your head in the sand. I can't be casual and say what a great team and be in denial. Toews's first 5 games were not very good but whatever.

Better they hit the skids sooner rather than later. But it does tend to reduce the market value of what they have if they go in the dumper.

He should have had Copps goal - he's a big goalie, should have come out and challenged him more.

Darling will give up 2/3 in games that Crawford will give up 1/2 - don't know that the Hawks can score the necessary 3/4 with Darling in there.

Jets were missing Scheifelle - tonite and last nite - beat Chicago and St. Louis.

He's not Toews - but next man up.
