JJ or anyone else do you think Schmaltz can actually add strength at Rockford? It was my understanding that due to be grind of the season players usually have a hard time maintaining their weight. Is it possible for one to even add strength during the season or is that something that can't be addressed till the off season. It's clearly the biggest thing he needs to improve on.

Surprised Purcell cleared. He's not that pricey and has had a good track record for 6 or so years.

The sloppy, seemingly uninspired play by the Hawks is another reason I'm surprised they lead the west in points.

Just no depth anymore....Hawks banked some good points early mostly with smoke, mirrors and Crow....maybe they'll hang on, but things could get ugly in a hurry. the Schedule looks tough.

What's going on with Nik in the past 7 games a forward seems to get behind him in the o zone just like that pk.

Didn't catch the first period but I have not seen the Hawks win a board battle the entire 2nd period.

Antime PAK and HHH want to show up and play....

Honestly they need to separate the PAK line, the Blues showed teams how to shut it down, win the face off, clog the neutral zone and if they get into the offensive zone 2 guys smother the puck carrier if it's either Kane or Panarin, I guess the one good thing is he won't hit his second bonus this year.
