Nice to see the Oil score some goals and win without McDavid. Talbot had a big game. |

He hasn't been too bad so far this season. I would like to see a little more Lucic being Lucic out there on the ice. I think we'll get more from him down the stretch and in the playoffs if we make it. - Oildrum
He keeps gettting better. He will be awesome in the playoffs. Hope to say the same about Ebs. Good to see Ebs playing better. Was bad on the second goal by the ducks. |

Nuge needs to pick it up.
Lucic-McJesus-Draisaitl
Eberle also needs to pick it up.
Should've gotten Barrie.
You guys are talking about Davidson. I'm just wondering when Pakarinen will be back. - TheGiftofGod
Will you please (frank) off already. Nuge has been fine and has been performing well in the role he has been placed. |

Nuge was FAR worse. Sekera lost his stick and Benning moved to his side to help him cover the net and for whatever reason Nuge decided to commit to that side of the net as well leaving the far side completely open and forcing Eberle to have to re-actively try to catch the guy left alone by Nuge (and Benning to a lesser extent). |

Holy (frank) , kid. You keep getting less, and less of a clue as the season goes on. |

Lander with a hatty down in OKC tonight. Toobad he can't put it all together in the big leagues like that. |

So you believe Nuge wasn't more responsible for that goal than Eberle whose job it is to guard the point in McLellan's system? |

I didn't even watch the play, or the game. You get so sensitive when the Oilers win after you've been a negative Nelly and been wrong proclaiming an Oilers loss |

Nuge was in position. Eberle, once again, got caught drifting and puck watching. I am getting very tired of Eberle mailing in his effort, especially on D and then getting praise for all of his second assists. I would part with Eberle in a heartbeat if the right deal comes along. Having said that, the team has many many more passionate guys who are not as gifted skill wise as Eberle, so yes we can shelter his "softness" a bit, but I still don't like watching it.
I just hate watching guys play that appear to not care what the outcome of the game is. |

I hate his attitude and would part with him for a decent puck moving dman too. He doesn't care about the game at all unless the puck is on his stick, and he's the only one on the team that doesn't stick up for his teammates after the whistle. |

We won a game where McDavid or Talbot were not the primary reasons finally. Talbot played great especially in the third but can't say he "stole" it for us.
We went from having the best ice in the league to some of the worst. They were talking about fixing it a month ago and said it takes time to figure out a new arena but come on. The puck is like a tennis ball out there every game. Hope they get it fixed soon. |
