YEah all the people that he want to get the WWF, trailer park trash aspect out of the game and just employ players that can actually play the game. What monsters they must be huh? How dare they take out the aspect that all the brain dead idiots like the most? Why would we want to prevent the guys that get paid the minimum from developing pugilists dementia when they are 38 years old because they have been punched in the head so many times? Then we can continue to deny the correlation between hockey and brain injuries. If a fight between 2 regular players breaks out because of the heat of the game then I'm all for it but when Derrick Boogaurd and Rick Flair are indistinguishable there's a huge problem there and it's just stupid. - Dcoms
Did i say anything about fighting? You have zero ability to understand anything unless its spelled out for you and i don't have the time. You must suck to watch a movie with. |

In the real world, guys like Bob Errey, Phil Bourque and Troy Loney got huge ovations tonight, and rightly so.
But if they played in this modern, Internet-driven, fancy-stat NHL, they would be whipping boys on message boards for being given roles above their skill level. |

Whichever it is, I hope it knocks the stuffing out of the wings!!!
Let's go Peeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!
Edit: if they are the Red Wings, there must be a red turkey or red chicken running around town going berserk without its wings!!! |

Putting Flower in goal goes against what they have been saying about sharing the goal. I guarantee if Murray had a good game (which he has had), they would continue with rotation. This just stinks of appeasing the vet goalie which if it is, they are going to (frank) themselves up.
They should make a trade ASAP or else we will be probably see Muzza take the road out of town! |

I really can't see how management focus on analytics has anything to do with how players are developed. The better hockey player that analytics will discover is more skilled but they are still the same kids from the same type of towns. |

Hockey players used to be told they have to work for everything, no matter what skill level. Its turning more like football now. If your good be a Richard and eceryone should give u everything. |

I think that's become the norm in most sports now.
Also, history would provide examples of top players doing poop & organisations covering it up due to their need for that player.
The difference now is social media - everyone finds out about what's happened where as before only select few found out! Social media has become judge & jury, & if you look at the Hawks for example & P. Kane. Hawks fans (who need Kane), defended him (& righfully so as they defend their own player), whereas everyone else crucified him as it was all over social media. So who is right who is wrong? Where is the truth?
You'll find there were plenty of 'grubby' issues before, just not advertised. Now these young stars that want the attention throw themselves into social media to get the attention they want. |

Quick let's throw Muzza in at the 10 minute mark so both goalies 'share' time!
At least then ' 4 goal Fleury won't show up'.
Or do you think the Wings can score 3 in 10 minutes? |

How do you get skill without hard work? The human body is a machine that needs to be pushed to develop. In the extreme case there's a reason johnny football is out of the game. The physical discipline it takes to play at the highest levels is pretty extreme. |
