Its Konecny on line 2. He's leading that group. I'm not a Couturier hater, but he isn't keeping up with guys who are speedier and able to push the pace like Konecny. - flyer_nutter

For sure, Schenn is actually winning some board battles though so that's definitely helping hopefully he keeps it up along with the whole line, they've all been pretty good |

Not trying to start a 10 page debate but Couts statistically makes almost everyone he plays with a better possession player. Konecy and Voracek noticeably suffered when Couturier went down |

Meh. I'm not looking for a debate. The dude has a good hockey IQ, and is good defensively. He's slow, and not creative enough offensively to get me excited. King of soft goals.
We all have our players. Couturier isn't one of mine. |

Yeah he's good at what he does that's for sure, not sure he'll ever be the scorer everyone expects him to be though and I'm cool with that as long as he brings his solid 2 way game |

Exactly. Nothing wrong with him being a Handzus. They need a more dynamic guy to be 2C (if possible). As it may not be, so be it. |

Agree, he is a solid 3rd line Centre which every team needs. Don't think he has shown enough offence to be considered a solid 2nd line C |

Exactly, you need those Handzus types to win games and Couts can be that for this team. I want the Flyers to give Schenn a good look at 2c, he's never really been given a long term chance to be a center on this team. And he is a lot more dynamic offensively that Couturier in my opinion so why not give it a shot. |

Schenn has been handed every role on the team he's been put in because there has been nobody better. Not sure thats a compliment.
I think Schenn has found his niche as a LW, but honestly he just needs to play with some fire under his ass to be effective. He's a warm body half the time.
Draisaitl for 2C and 1C of the future. God please. |

I guess but he played his junior hockey as a center and the Flyers have never really given him a shot longer than 10-15 games to stick at center. I think he plays better when he's in the middle that's just me. Draisaitl is gonna be a great player and I'd love to have him on this team but I doubt Edmonton trades him, if they do they're idiots and not even sure how much it would take. Probably Schenn, Simmonds, plus and not sure if I'd be willing to do that |

Panarin and Kane are both unreal, still bothers me we got screwed in that 2006 draft and ended up with JVR |
