Schenn is better when he is physical and I feel like playing with those two the physicality kinda rubbed off on him. I wanna see him hitting though if anything Schenn is a way better player when he actually hits people.

So am I, problem is he should always be playing like that anyways, If I'm Hakstol I specifically tell him we need you to hit and be physical, maybe he does maybe he doesn't who knows but I'm not seeing that same level of physicality from him that we saw in the second half of last season.

I completely agree.The 2 games with CVV and Lyuby he seemed to moving his feet, making good plays with the puck, forechecking, and hitting. Maybe all that starts when he gets into it physically? It seems that way.

Would you do B Schenn for JVR right now straight up trade, I feel like I would. Not that I don't like Schenn or anything but this team needs someone who can score goals and Schenn only seems willing to provide that for half a season instead of a full one so far in his career.

It's weird to me because its not like Simmonds and Konecny are ones to back away from the physical play. The issues with Schenn are obviously mental, he has the tools to play physical game in and game out, I just can't understand why he doesn't.
